Placing an Implant Is a Surgical Decision. Make It With a System.
Most implant problems start before the first drill: in case selection, planning and site preparation. This workshop teaches implant surgery as one connected protocol, from diagnosis and classification through guided and free-hand placement, with live virtual training afterward to support your first cases.
Case Selection You Can Trust
Diagnose, classify and treatment plan every implant case with confidence, using the ITI SAC Classification.
Real Hands-On Surgery
Eight hours placing implants on models, guided and free-hand, plus flap, suturing and ridge preservation exercises on pig jaws.
Support After the Course
Three live virtual evening sessions (7 CE hours) after the workshop, plus a year of WhatsApp access to your instructors.
Knowing Implants Is One Thing. Placing Them Confidently Is Another.
For most dentists the gap isn't knowledge. It's supervised practice and one reliable protocol for case selection, drilling and site preparation. Without it, every case feels like a first case, and the ones that could be done in-office get referred out.
If any of these hit home, this workshop is for you:
- You aren't sure which cases are straightforward and which to refer
- You've attended lectures but never placed an implant with a specialist beside you
- Drilling in soft or dense bone feels like guesswork
- You want to use surgical guides but aren't sure when they help most
- Flap design and suturing still slow you down
- You want a clear plan for anatomical danger zones and complications
From “I Think This Case Is OK” to “I Know Why It Is.”
Before the Workshop
- Cases chosen by gut feeling
- The same drilling sequence in every bone type
- Unsure when a surgical guide adds value
- Complications handled after the fact
- No one to call before your first case
After the Workshop
- A classification-based case selection system
- Drilling protocols matched to bone quality
- Clear indications for guided vs. free-hand placement
- Danger zones and complications anticipated
- A year of WhatsApp access to your periodontist instructors
Scientific & Clinical Curriculum
A curriculum spanning diagnosis, planning, guided and free-hand placement, site preparation and complication management.

- Atraumatic extraction, ridge preservation and material selection

By the End of This Workshop, You Will Be Able To:
- Apply the key steps of case selection, workup and treatment planning to maximize success and patient satisfaction

- Explain the biological and mechanical concepts behind long-term implant success
- Choose a drilling protocol for each bone type
- Perform guided and free-hand implant placement on models
- Apply the surgical principles of site preparation, ridge preservation and augmentation, and soft tissue management
- Recognize the risks for complications, and prevent and manage them
Guided Surgery, Hands-On
From drilling through a surgical guide to placing implants on models alongside your instructors.

You Won't Just Watch It. You'll Place It, With a Periodontist Beside You.
More than half of the in-person training is hands-on. You'll place implants on models, guided and free-hand, and practice flap design, suturing and ridge preservation on pig jaws while two board-certified periodontists coach your technique in real time. To keep that coaching personal, seating is intentionally limited.
Why it matters: most surgical complications trace back to details: case selection, drilling sequence, angulation and flap handling. Those are learned with your hands, not from slides.

What you'll practice:
- Implant placement on models, guided and free-hand
- Drilling protocols for different bone types
- Working with a surgical guide and guided drilling kit
- Flap design and suturing on pig jaws
- Atraumatic extraction and ridge preservation on pig jaws
- Soft tissue grafting (VIPCTG) on pig jaws
Learn From Surgeons Who Teach Every Step
Hear from Dr. Kiarash about how the training is built, then watch him drill implant sites through a surgical guide in a guided placement demonstration from a past session.
The Workshop Ends Saturday. Your Training Doesn't.
After the two days in person, you'll join 3 live virtual evening sessions (7 CE hours). And every participant gets 1 year of direct WhatsApp access to Dr. Kiarash and Dr. Behmanesh. Review a case before your first placement, get a second opinion on a difficult site, or troubleshoot a complication, with the same periodontists who taught you.

Do I need prior implant surgery experience?
No. The workshop moves from diagnosis, case selection and treatment planning through hands-on placement on models, guided and free-hand, with site preparation and complication management along the way.
Does the workshop cover both guided and free-hand placement?
Yes. You'll learn when a surgical guide adds value and when free-hand placement is appropriate, and practice both on models, with drilling protocols for every bone type.
