What to Know Before You Register
- Level 1 (online) must be completed before Level 2, with a written exam on pharmacology, anatomy and patient assessment.
- Bring at least 5 patients to day 2 of Levels 2 and 3, plus a current copy of your dental licence and malpractice insurance.
- Patients receive a discounted workshop rate of $6 per unit; participants are responsible for their patients’ fees.
- Certification: Level 1 after the online assessment; Levels 2 and 3 after the hands-on evaluation and instructor sign-off.

Do I need Level 1 before Level 2?
Yes. Level 1 is online and must be completed, including its written exam, before you start Level 2.
Where are the in-person levels held?
In Montréal, Quebec. Each in-person level is a 2-day workshop, from 8:30 am to 6 pm both days.
Do I need to bring patients?
Yes. Bring at least 5 patients to day 2 of Levels 2 and 3. Patients pay a discounted workshop rate of $6 per unit, and participants are responsible for their patients’ fees.
What documents do I need?
A current copy of your dental licence and of your malpractice insurance.
Do these workshops follow the ODQ guidelines?
Yes. They are offered in line with the ODQ requirements and guidelines for using neuromodulators in dental practice.
What is the refund policy for the in-person levels?
A 50% refund is issued up to 31 days before the course start date. No refund is issued from 30 days before the course.
