Webinar - Atraumatic Extraction & Ridge Preservation

Course Summary:

Successful oral rehabilitation often requires hard and soft tissue regeneration for ideal functional and esthetic outcomes. Implant dentistry has evolved, and it is the standard of care for replacing single or multiple missing teeth. As a result, understanding of the maintenance of bone and soft tissue after tooth extraction is essential.

Today’s clinicians are achieving predictable results by grafting extraction sockets for ridge preservation utilizing the latest regenerative technics and materials.

Bone physiology will be discussed as it relates to clinical care surrounding tooth removal, reduced bone loss, maintenance of ridge proportions, enhances esthetic and post-operative outcomes as well as patient expectations.

This course will review practical applications of atraumatic extraction, and ridge preservation. Clinical experience and scientific evidence will be presented to support the treatment algorithms discussed.
